MCA Allows One-Time Fee Waiver for 13 e-Forms during MCA21 V3 Transition
The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) has given temporary relief to companies and professionals during its switch from the older MCA21 V2 system to the new MCA21 V3 platform. As per the circular dated 16th June 2025, a one-time waiver of additional fees has been granted for 13 statutory e-forms.
What’s changing?
To carry out this portal upgrade smoothly, the MCA has paused filing for certain e-forms from 18th June to 13th July 2025. If the due date or resubmission date for these forms falls between 18th June and 31st July 2025, the filings can be done without any late fees till 15th August 2025.

This fee waiver is a practical step to ease the burden on companies during a busy compliance season. It helps professionals plan their filings with more flexibility and avoid penalties caused by portal downtime.
What to Keep in Mind
Once the forms are available again on the new MCA portal, stakeholders should not delay. Filing early will help avoid any rush or technical glitches as the new system becomes active.
